K. Danse

Both in France and abroad, K. Danse develops choreographic projects integrating digital music, digital imagery and interactive environments. The company offers performances, workshops, laboratories, lecture demonstrations, artistic directorship (dance and technology call for proposals, Monaco Dance Forum 2000), and the organisation of events. Projects by K. Danse are made possible with the support from the Regional Council of Midi-Pyrénées, the City of Toulouse, the Ministry of Culture (Drac Midi-Pyrénées, Dicream, CNC), the local Council of the Haute-Garonne, the "Communauté d'Agglomération du Grand Toulouse", CulturesFrance (for projects abroad and overseas) and the City of Villeneuve-Tolosane (permanent residency). Through its regional, national and international presence, K. Danse includes partners such as festivals, cultural centers, scientific institutions and private sponsors. Each production is a renewed encounter with artists of various nationalities (dancers, choreographers, composers, visual artists, stage designers, computer artists, researchers…) and has offered a creative platform for extensive co-operation with several countries (India, 2008-2009, Central America 2006-2007, Marocco 2006-2007, Catalonia since 2005, Mexico 2004-2005, Venezuela 2001, Great-Britain 1999, Germany 1996-97, Pakistan 1995 et 1997).
