KAMBARA KISEN Co., Ltd., a core company of TSUNEISHI HOLDINGS CORPORATION (head office: Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture), has been a shipbuilding and marine transportation company since its founding 111 years ago. In addition to its liner business that uses Shanghai as a hub to link Japan with China and Southeast Asia, this company is developing its non-liner ("tramp") business by transporting resources such as coal worldwide, and is also managing ships in its owned fleet. In the liner business, in 2014 the company is celebrating its 20th year as a container route operator between Japan and China, and is beefing up its international multi-modal transportation business in cooperation with KAMBARA LOGISTICS, a shipping business centered in Hiroshima Prefecture's Port of Fukuyama. In the non-liner business, subsidiary companies have been set up to own and manage ships in Singapore. The service web is expanding beyond Asia to include India, Australia, and the Middle East.
