KANAMOTO CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the rental and sale of construction machinery. Along with its subsidiaries, the Company operates in three business segments. The Construction segment is engaged in the sale and rental of construction machinery and equipment, makeshift materials, fixtures and fittings and safety appliances. This segment is also involved in the development, manufacturing and sale of temporary housing units. The Steel segment offers construction-related products, such as steel products and others. The Information and Communications Equipment business segment is engaged in the rental and sale of computers and peripheral equipment including workstations and Personal Computer (PC) servers. The Company has 11subsidiaries and two associated company. On June 20, 2008, the Company fully acquired a Tochigi-based company.
