Karen Karch

Both grungy and glamorous, distressed and polished, her broad range of inspirations encompasses classicism to modern culture, resulting in designs that balance of-the-moment with everlasting. Karen&s;s initial years in New York were spent studying jewelry making at Parsons School of Design. Immediately smitten with the energy of the city in the 90&s;s, she cultivated her distinctive aesthetic. Even before graduating, her work was featured on MTV and in magazines, and was soon to be stocked by leading retailers known for celebrating new talent, including Barney&s;s Co-Op. Karen opened her first boutique, PUSH, in NoLita, a SoHo adjacent neighborhood. Meeting her creative clientele in person offered endless inspiration that enabled her to really carve out her niche. Known for infusing boundary pushing elements to precious materials naturally led Karen to apply this same revolutionary approach to bridal designs. Custom commissions arose and continue to be a significant part of her work today. To better accommodate personalized appointments, Karen relocated her salon to Gramercy Park. It was also here that Karen collaborated with her protégé Deme Wolfe Power to launch a diffusion collection, Karch Wolfe that offers a mix in counterpoint style with a price-accessible spirit. Karen now brings her three decades of experience to the digital realm of her online shop. Karen is available for custom design consultations, both in person and virtually. Facebook
