The Confectionery Development Industrial Company - (Katakit) is a Syrian Company located in Damascus and Syria's leading manufacturer of consumer packaged food and beverages products. It was established in 1990 by Anzarouti Family based on a previous 40 years of experience in the confectionery industry. What was once a business targeting solely the local community has grown into a business that has far broader regional appeal. By Building on our successful achievements, we have further fragmented the segment and introduced more brands ranging from coated wafer products, biscuits, chocolate, to Powder Soft Drinks. In 2001 we became the leading manufacturing company in the industry, with premises extending over 100,000 sq. m. Today we offer a range of 28 products Reaching 60000 sales points in Syria. Capitalizing on our leading knowledge, we became a regional export player and have so far received a very positive broad consumer response.
