Kearsarge Regional School District SAU
The Kearsarge Regional School District (KRSD), established in 1967, serves seven towns within the Lake Sunapee region of New Hampshire. The area is an attractive four-season tourist and recreation area. These communities are spread over a broad geographical and topographical area of approximately 470 square miles. Towns Served - Bradford, Newbury, New London, Sutton, Springfield, Warner, and Wilmot. The total seven town population equals approximately 14,000. The KRSD is governed by one regional School Board consisting of nine members. Schools in the KRSD - James House Preschool, KRES at New London, Sutton Central School, KRES at Bradford, Simonds Elementary School, Kearsarge Regional Middle School, and Kearsarge Regional High School (7 schools in total). Full Day Kindergarten began with the 2013-2014 school year, and a vibrant Adult Diploma Program serves many area towns and graduates approximately 3 dozen students annually.
