KCPT offers: Award-winning performances Year-round events Musicals, concerts, outdoor theater & more. Since 2010, KCPT has garnered numerous awards and honors for artistic merit including its first Washington State Arts Commission, Humanities WA and National Endowment for the Arts grants and 2010 & 2013 "Best Theater" Awards in the Kitsap Sun Arts & Entertainment Awards. KCPT is "on the move" with: Nearly 15,000 patrons per year served by performances and programs - 30% drawn from outside Jefferson County Over 200 performances, events, classes and workshops annually produced Youth education programs that serve 1,000 area students (ages Kindergarten to post-secondary) each year Over 35 community partners who have directly participated with KCPT in the last eight years During the last four years, KCPT has created more new local jobs in the arts then all other Olympic Peninsula arts organizations combined and has emerged as a major cultural and economic asset in Jefferson County. KCPT is funded in part by generous grants from private and corporate foundations as well as government agencies including the Port Townsend Arts Commission, but the majority of our support comes from the annual financial contributions of local businesses and individuals like you.
