KHDA offers a smart signature facility for parents as school contracts can be signed through the KHDA app or the 'Happy Home' portal. Parents do not have to go to school for signatures unless a student is being registered for the first time at a private school in Dubai. "This year, most schools have encouraged parents to sign the parent-school contract online and we've seen a big jump in the popularity of online contracts. Going forward, we hope more schools will work with their parent community to promote the smart service" added Amal. Signing the parent-school contract is mandatory to register any student at a private school in Dubai. The contract ensures both parents and schools are aware of their duties and responsibilities. The initiative supports Dubai Smart City objectives and works towards achieving the goal of making Dubai the smartest city in the world.
