At KidzCare Pediatrics formerly known as Pediatric Associates, our mission is to provide high quality comprehensive healthcare services to infants and children of each community without regard to race, color, religion, nationality, and ability to pay. We are committed to providing excellent and continually up-to-date diagnostic, therapeutic, health-promoting, and preventive practices, with special attention to development, behavioral health and positive parenting practices. We intend to use innovative and sophisticated thinking in how we conceive of, organize, and deliver our care. Our first priority will always be serving our patients. We also intend to provide, in our offices, a professionally and personally nurturing environment for our providers and staff. Objective is to ensure that every infant and child should have same day access to a pediatric trained health care provider within our communities within the next 5 years. To recruit and train the best of pediatric providers, nursing, and supportive service staff, follow the best practice guidelines and evidence based medicine, to automatically collect, report, and act on patient vital stats and disease prevalence to effectively prevent hospitalization and reduce the overall cost of healthcare. At KidzCare Pediatrics, physicians are either board certified or board eligible in pediatrics. Our Physicians have staff privileges at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Central Carolina Hospital, Almance Regional Medical Center, and Angel Medical Center. All our medical and support personnel are dedicated to meeting your health care needs. Our courteous staff will help introduce you to our medical community and provide you with contact information for specialists and super specialists if required. We have built a reputation and a presence in the community for providing warm and friendly service. We continue to be committed to delivering the finest pediatric care in the area. We have an excellent proven track record in treating patients with asthma, complex and chronic illness, ADHD, ADD, ODD, conduct disorder and special needs children. Additionally, we provide routine childcare, immunizations, annual physicals for sports and schools. Since 2009, we have instituted EMR (Electronic Medical Records) for the convenience of continued medical care at all our office locations. Along with growth, comes responsibility towards our children and young adults. In addition to caring for children, our providers provide patient-centered, cost-effective pediatric care and participate in ongoing quality improvements of health care processes. We provide care to our patients based on American Academy of Pediatrics' guidelines. We encourage our staff (both medical and non-medical staff) to stay informed of the new and developing trends in the field of pediatric medicine. We have been actively involved in outcome based quality initiatives programs of CCNC (Community Care of North Carolina). We have been involved in the Quality Improvement program which is helping provide better quality care in a more cost effective manner (www.Communitycarenc.org). We have participated in programs that have helped save the state of North Carolina more than $90 Million.
