KIPP Bridge Academy
KIPP, the Knowledge Is Power Program, is a national network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools dedicated to preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. KIPP Bay Area Schools is made up of five middle schools, two high schools, a regional support office, and a forthcoming college preparatory high school opening in fall 2013. In 2012-2013, its schools served approximately 2,600 students, with 97% being students of color. To date, 85% of KIPP Bay Area Schools alumni have matriculated to college.
