Newton Group began in 1994 as a general contractor operating under the name Kiwi Newton Construction and continues as a design builder throughout Southern Ontario. Other divisions developed and diversified the company and now the firm also operates Newton Solar, Newton Parking Structures, Newton Bridge Solutions and Nadeco. Newton Solar's strength and what sets it apart from others in this sector, is its expertise and in-depth knowledge of roofs and roofing systems. Newton Solar knows that it is the roofing system that dictates the type of PV Solar system. They are among the most experienced firms as an Engineer, Procurer, Constructor (EPC) firm and have a prefabrication facility in Guelph which allows them to build customized equipment to facilitate their clients' projects. In the past three years, the firm has installed 4.25MW AC in commercial applications.
