With a wide range of insurance and reinsurance products, Klapton provides quality solutions to our customers, brokers, insureds and re-insureds. We are an insurer and reinsurer registered in the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros and formed in 2005, with reserves of over €55m. Our business model is to focus on core activity lines, mainly sureties (bonds and guarantees), combined commercial (SME, Contractors & Engineering) and inward facultative reinsurance covers. These covers are carefully accepted from customers and brokers with whom we develop long term relationships. Since 2017 we are a rated insurer, and recently Klapton is awarded Investment Grade rating by Bloomfield Investment (A1- Short Term & BBB+ Long Term - both with Stable outlook). Klapton main activity is in the African, Middle East and Asia markets.
