KMG HOTELS was founded in 2000 and is registered under the New York State Laws. KMG HOTELS is jointly owned by Mr. Jayesh Koshiya and Mr. Sanjay Koshiya. Mr. Jayesh Koshiya is the current Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Sanjay Koshiya is current Chief Financial Officer of the company. KMG hotel operates and manages eight existing properties plus another two properties which is under construction. KMG HOTELS prides in itself for providing quality service and a branded experience to all its customers. Our first foray in the hospitality industry was in November 2004 when we acquired Ramada Inn Gold Key in Indianapolis, IN. This property was a 205 room hotel and was jointly owned by us with an experienced family friend of ours. This was an important period for us because we gained valuable insights and hands on experience in hotel operation and management which ultimately laid the foundation for our future expansion. We successfully converted this hotel into Quality Inn and Suites, under Choice Hotels brand and owned and operated it until February 2007. Within the hotel we operated a 150-seat full service restaurant and increased the restaurant revenue by 45%, thus turning it profitable for the first time. Around this time we saw an opportunity to expand in the Midwest region of United States, which ultimately became home for our business, several hotel properties and our family. In March 2007, we acquired two hotels in Joplin, MO; Comfort Inn and Suites, 82 rooms, and Econo Lodge and Suites. We converted Econo Lodge and Suites into Quality Inn and Suites, 70 rooms, and have owned, operated and managed both these hotels since then. In 2012, the Quality Inn and Suites at Joplin went on and won the Gold Award winner from Choice Hotels Group. In 2007, we acquired Quality Inn and Suites in North Kansas City. In 2010, we completely remodeled and converted our Quality Inn and Suites hotel in North Kansas City into Holiday Inn Express and Suites, 73 rooms, an Intercontinental Hotel brand. It has been operating and managed by us as Holiday Inn Express and Suites since then and has become head office for all our operations. In 2010, we constructed our first extended stay property under Candlewood Suites, 89 rooms, another InterContinental Hotels brand in Kansas City, MO at Worlds of Fun. We have been owning, operating and managing this extended stay property successfully since then. In 2011 we saw the natural gas and oil boom in regions around Parachute, CO. We thus build a Comfort Inn and Suites, 71 rooms, for the booming economy there. This property went on to become the Platinum Award winner for quality and service in 2012. In 2011, we also bought a Suburban Extended Stay, 118 rooms, in Lenexa, KS. In 2013, we successfully converted the Extended Stay into Best Western Plus. Our phenomenal success of Candlewood Suites at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, MO prompted us to acquire Comfort Inn and Suites, again by Worlds of Fun, in 2013. To become the world's most respected and reputable management company that will own and/or operate hospitality industry assets. To provide luxury and comfort beyond what is promised to our customers and also encourage a friendly, creative and a committed working environment for our employees. We have a very young, ambitious and capable ownership and management team which is in their early-thirties. We plan to add at least one hotel ownership and/or management under our company every year. This can be done through acquiring an existing property under management or constructing a brand new one. To build a strong management team that foresees new and potential site locations. To have strategic financial and operating partners so that we may share, learn and grow together. Time and again to find opportunities in distressed assets, re-model them and manage them.
