Knivsta

Knivsta rural municipality was the municipal reform in 1971 in Uppsala and the area was transferred simultaneously from Stockholm County to Uppsala. Knivsta Municipality was formed in 2003 by a breakaway from Uppsala municipality of the area before the merger in 1971 formed the country Knivsta municipality. The municipality is since the formation of Uppsala jurisdiction.
