Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club
Since 2000, the Kooyong Foundation has made significant advancement focusing on two key objectives: to honour the rich traditions of Kooyong and Australian tennis; and to provide positive, practical support for the development of the sport. The Kooyong Clubhouse represents a “Living Museum of Tennis, allowing Members and guests to immerse themselves in the photography, trophies and special memorabilia celebrating the history of tennis in Australia. The Foundation also actively nurtures young talent. Through scholarships, annual tournaments and other junior development programmes, some of Australia’s most promising and talented juniors are given the opportunity to excel in their game. With a Board of Directors that includes such all-time greats of Australian tennis as Frank Sedgman, Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Wayne Arthurs, and the ongoing support of generous donors, the Foundation is in an incredible position to contribute to Australian tennis. The Kooyong Foundation owes its ongoing success to the generosity of donors. For those passionate about tennis and eager to see Australia’s place in the sport continue to thrive, involvement with the Kooyong Foundation can prove a highly satisfying and worthwhile venture.
