V.S.Bilgi the chief promoter Director who was working as CFO in Bharti Airtel started the business operations under the new brand name "Kou Chan", earlier this entity was known as Andig Electronics Pvt. Ltd., incorporated on 21st March 1985 under the provisions of Companies Act, 1956 with the Registrar of Companies in Bangalore Karnataka, initially the company was carrying the main business activity of Software Development and Networking in IT field. Kou-Chan commenced the new business activities relating to HR & manpower outsourcing, support services for BPO and call centre logistics and warehouse management, operating system networking & AMC services in IT software & hardware and Management Consultancy Services.
