Krash Consulting has roots dating back from 1995 when founder, George Dus; started Visionet Communications in Toronto, Ontario to provide Macintosh technical support and solutions for various clients. After a year of clients having trouble free Macintosh computers, Visionet Communications needed to broaden its clients base by starting to support Windows and PCs to the growing need of small and medium businesses who could not afford or justify employing a full-time IT person to maintain their computer systems or infrastructure. The main goal was to provide clients with solutions that made their systems self-sustainable. This approach reduced support calls and more importantly reduced downtime that clients were experiencing prior to contacting George for his services and expertise. Clients were finally able to focus on running their businesses instead of being frustrated with their computer systems. Unfortunately, this started to pose a problem for George and his company in that clients were not calling him regularly. Fortunately, clients were all too happy to pass his name to others. In 1998, Visionet Communications was renamed and incorporated to Visionet Information Systems, Inc. with additional services being offered such as cabling, home technology integration and home theatre design and installation. In late of 2004, George headed west to start Krash Consulting to fill a need due to the lack of Macintosh support providers in Alberta. He also wanted get back to his Macintosh support roots when he started providing technical support for Macintoshes back in 1990 for an employer. Today, George remains an evangelist for Apple and in promoting their products and solutions. By offering the best of both platforms, small and medium businesses have more collaborative solutions for their business IT needs while reducing their costs.
