KREOLOR

Jewellery and craft manufacturer Kreolor is unique to Seychelles. Founded in 1990, the company is a joint venture between local and foreign investors, with Claudio Izzi as it's Creative Director. Utilising the skills of specially trained Seychellois goldsmiths and craftsmen, the company has built up a workforce of forty employees. Following the success of the jewellery making firm, the creative team turned their attention to using more varied natural materials and set-up a craft section in 1998. As a result, Kreolor craftsmen are now hand-making artefacts primarily with local materials, a remainder of days gone by when people were happy to use natural products they found around them to create rudimentary jewellery and craft items.
