Krousar Thmey

Krousar Thmey has been working to help Cambodian children integrate socially and blossom in keeping with their traditions and beliefs since 1991. As part of a long-term activity, Krousar Thmey ensures that the aid provided doesn't create any privileges, special treatment or disparity within the group. The Foundation's main goal is to increase projects carried out by Cambodians for Cambodians: over 400 employees, all Cambodian, work at the Foundation; four European volunteers support the communication, assessment and evaluation of the project and management. Recognised NGOs in France, Switzerland, Britain and Singapore entirely run by volunteers help raise funds. A localised charity in Sweden also provides support. Its thorough management sees annual administration fees account for less than 4% of the Foundation's budget (accounts certified by auditors KPMG).
