Kuku Studios

Kuku Studios is a storytelling house focused on creating characters, experiences, and stories that enrich people's lives. Whether it's a feature film, an episodic series, or a VR narrative, we believe telling stories is a big responsibility. Stories should not only delight and entertain, but also challenge us to grow. At Kuku Studios, we're committed to crafting content that captures truth and meaning in the stories we tell. Tim Hahn - Tim is an award-winning producer with a knack for bringing out the best in a creative team. Having led his production company Chinese Takeout Films to create multiple award-winning short films (both animated and live action), he is the glue that holds the team together. Prior to joining Kuku Studios, Tim worked in Production at Pixar Animation Studios. Tim holds a BA in Theater & Dance from Amherst College. He loves cuddling with puppies and can kick your butt at League of Legends. His credit list includes: Finding Dory, The Good Dinosaur, Toy Story of Terror, Toy Story That Time Forgot, Toy Story and Cars Toons, and several award-winning music videos and short films. Alex Woo - Alex is an award-winning director with strong artistic vision and a natural instinct for storytelling. Prior to founding Kuku Studios, Alex was a Story Lead at Pixar Animation Studios, a director in development at LucasFilm Animation, and a Student Academy Award winning filmmaker. Alex has a BFA in Film/TV Production from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. When he's not crafting stories, Alex likes cooking and moonwalking in his kitchen to his favorite Michael Jackson records. His credit list includes: Finding Dory, Wall•e, Ratatouille, 1906, the Student Academy Award winning short Rex Steele: Nazi Smasher, and the Sundance New Frontier selection VR short The Rose and I. Stanley Moore - Stanley is an award-winning filmmaker with a deep, nerdy love for animation and an intrinsic taste for marketable creative content. His student film has won numerous awards in film festivals around the world. Prior to founding Kuku Studios, Stanley was one of the top Story Artists at Pixar Animation Studios. He holds a BA in Animation from Ringling School of Art & Design. Stanley loves surfing and squishing the chubby cheeks of his newborn baby to make him have a fishy face. His credit list includes: Finding Dory, Monster's University, and the Oscar winning short The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore.
