This fully mechanical Tier III Mitsubishi engine is rated at 684hp at 1800rpm and is designed for heavy-duty workboat applications, making it an ideal engine for both repower and new construction customers. The S6R-Y3MPTAW-1 has a displacement of 24.5 liters, which is 29% greater than the 600hp to 700hp class that the competition offers, operating at the same rpm. The larger displacement will provide less strain on the engine, allowing a longer service life.
