Originally built in 1894, The Lakeside Hotel is an intrinsic part of the local landscape and history. We have played host to many a guest through our long and distinguished history and we have also seen generations of Brides & Grooms start their lives together in this spectacular setting with the Arra mountains of North Tipperary & Mount Bernagh of Clare majestically looking on. The Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre, sitting on the bank of the River Shannon, overlooking the twin heritage towns of Ballina & Killaloe the ancient capital of Ireland, is a haven of tranquility, offering you a chance to escape the pressure of everyday life. Killaloe / Ballina is a busy fishing and boating centre in the mid-west region. The Linked towns offer history, a beautiful riverside settings and access to the Shannon waterway.
