Latchgate is a dedicated link for tourists and travellers across Europe and beyond. This is how it works. There will always be a short film in broadcast quality HD to introduce you to a region in the country you are travelling to. Then there are short films of every hotel, guest house, restaurant, pub, leisure park, camp site and golf course which is listed with the Chums service. We take you inside the venues so you can see for yourself what they are like. You can meet the owners and managers of the venues and hear what they have to say. We show you menus and tariffs so that you will know what to expect. We shall show you leisure parks and golf clubs and the inside of their facilities. We show you how it is, not with a glossy photograph but with a film with sounds and ambiance. What we do not do is comment, give opinions or review venues. But we will always show the venue's address and any credentials from recognised authorities. Our home base is in the sea port Kingston upon Hull in the county of East Yorkshire on the eastern seaboard of England. Frequent large ferries cross to and from the continent and the city is generally recognised as the gateway to the north and mid areas of the UK.
