Lhaki Construction Private

Lhaki construction was established in the year 1989 by Dasho Ugen Dorji. Initially the office was started as sole proprietorship manned by small group of people. The first project executed by the company was Natural Resources Training Institute (NRTI) at Lobesa amounting to Nu.15.50 millions. NRTI was officially handed over after completion of the Project in all respects in the year 1993. The contract for water supply system to NRTI worth of Nu.4 millions was awarded under separate package by the Ministry of Agriculture, executed concurrently and handed over to the client after successful completion in the year 1990. Gradually in few years time the Company has started gaining momentum in financial status and achieved notable practical experiences in the Construction business. Thereafter, with the enhanced experience acquired, the business expanded resulting to up gradation in terms of activities and scale of operation. Later, as the Government started to introduce reformation of the construction industry, accordingly based upon the past performance achieved by Lhaki Construction; it was registered as Private Limited Company under the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan - 2000. The office is located at 2nd floor of Lhaki Head Office, Post Box # 179, City Mall, Chhubachhu, Thimphu. The company is graded by the Construction Development Board as the large Scale industry specialized in the field of building, water supply, irrigation & flood control, road and bridge construction. The Company is equipped with qualified and efficient team members both in technical and administration to run the business professionally. The same technical professionals with 15 to 25 years of work experience in the field of construction and office management are still intact and working with the company actively at hand.
