Lady Hawkins' School is a school with a long, proud history. Our curriculum is designed to be broad and balanced with full national curriculum coverage with a range of academic and vocational options at Key Stage 4 and in the Sixth Form. In class achievement is supported by a substantial range of extra-curricular activities and events, including Major and Minor Games, Music, Drama, Dance, Theatre visits, School Productions, Skiing Holiday, National Mathematics Challenge, Chess Club, Robotics Club, Eco-Club, Adventure Club, Enterprise Challenges, Honda Theatre of Dreams and Duke of Edinburgh's Award. OfSTED recognised the all round value of these activities and we all recognise the contribution that shared extracurricular activities makes to the exceptionally good relationships within the school and between school and the community.
