Serrant - Web Development

Serrant - Web Development was created by me, Liam Serrant. The idea came about after I graduated from the University of Bradford, but wasn't put into practice until a few years later. I started out as an engineer, but after an unfortunate motorbike accident which left my paralysed, my life took a new direction. I now had to look at changing what I could do. After some rehabilitation I decided to go to college to take various computing courses over a period of years. This then gave me the qualifications to go to university. At the University of Bradford I studied a BSc in Internet Product Design. During my three years at the University I learnt many aspects of Media and Web Development for three years. After I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree I carried on from what I had learnt at University by creating websites for friends, relatives and myself as practice and to keep my skills up to date. I then was encouraged to to set up a permanent way of showcasing what I have learn't, so I created Serrant - Web Development. Since graduation, the world of web development as evolved so fast that you have to keep up with all the new techniques that evolved around this. My passion is using WordPress to build websites, because the possibilities of what you can do with it are endless. In my spare time I enjoy doing a lot of reading of the latest techniques in web development, usually in the Web Designer and .Net magazines. Also I enjoy watching sports, National Geographic, History and Discovery channels. When I am not doing all this, you can usually find me playing video games from my Xbox360.
