Lier Chemical Co., Ltd. is a military-into-civilian high-tech technology enterprise set by China Academy of Engineering Physics in 1993, and was listed on the main board of Shenzhen Stock Exchange in July 2008. The Company is headquartered in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, and has three production bases in Mianyang (Sichuan) (under construction), Nantong (Jiangsu) and Guangan (Sichuan), and more than 2,000 employees. The company is mainly engaged in the R & D, production and sales of efficient and safe pesticides such as chloropyridines, organophosphates, sulfonylureas and substituted ureas. The products include three series of herbicides, insecticides and fungicides, totally more than 30 active pharmaceutical ingredients, more than 90 varieties of preparations and some chemical intermediates. The Company is the largest R & D and production base of chloropyridine herbicides series, as well as the largest nationwide enterprise to produce glufosinate ammonium. Its products are sold to over 30 countries and regions in five continents, and the Company has established a long-term and stable strategic cooperative relationship with a number of internationally renowned agricultural enterprises. Adhering to the "science and technology oriented" development strategy, the Company has set up State-Level Enterprise Technology Center, Sichuan Technology Research Center of Functional Heterocyclic Compound Engineering, and Sichuan Laboratory of Heterocyclic Pesticides Engineering, as well has established the first Pesticide Biological Activity Testing Base in China. In recent years, the Company has launched over 10 technology innovation projects, accumulatively made dozens of various achievements in scientific research, and applied for 149 patents of which 83 were authorized and 40 were invention patents. A number of key technologies have obtained a provincial certificate for scientific and technological achievement, representing the leading domestic level and reaching the advanced international standard. The Company is the first owner of integrated technology of catalyst and chlorination system of pyridine compounds. The Company has passed the certification of ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety management system, and GB / T29490-2013 intellectual property management system.
