Link School of English

Established in 1992, Link School of English is a private School located in Swieqi, a quiet residential area ideal for educational purposes and close to St. Julian's. We pride ourselves in giving individual attention to each and every student. Our main premises, open all year round, is well equipped with fully air-conditioned classrooms, audio visual room, student study area, free Wi-Fi, computer area and a lovely garden with patios. Throughout the Summer months we also operate from our satellite branches, Junior College (Malta University), equipped with fifty classrooms, canteen, gym, audio visual room, computer room, theatre as well as indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Students are assigned to classrooms according to their age, level and nationality in order to ensure the best learning environment. All our teachers are experienced and qualified to international standards: B. Educ, Cambridge CELTA and DELTA, Trinity College TESOL, LCCI and other reputable TEFL qualifications. They use the latest teaching methodologies, emphasising on communicative skills and the most effective learning strategies. Every year, we award our best teacher with the 'Teacher of the Year Award' after continuous positive feedback from students. Being an official Exam Centre within the EU, students may attend preparatory courses before sitting for exams. Certificates are issued under standards established by the Council of Europe (Common European Framework). Students may attend Exam Preparation Courses for LCCI, City & Guilds, Trinity College London, all Cambridge examinations (IELTS, PET, KET, FCE, CAE,CPE) as well as TOEFL and TOEIC. Academic Year Courses are also available. We are licensed by the Malta Ministry of Education and the Malta Tourism Authority and accredited by ALTO & WYSTC. In 2011 we also became accredited by FELTOM (Federation of English Language Teacing in Malta) and were awarded the NCPE Equality Mark. In 2005 we were instrumental in supporting the daily scheduling of flights from Reggio to Malta. Our mission is to stimulate students' acquired knowledge in English by giving them the opportunity to participate fully in class with a strong emphasis on improving the four major skills namely reading, writing, listening and speaking.
