Lisbon Valley Mining

Lisbon Valley Mining Company employs approximately 140 employees to operate a heap leach open pit copper mine. The Company's operations currently focus on mining run of mine ore from two open pits which are continuously mined with a fleet of Caterpillar mobile equipment. Mobile mining equipment ranges in size from 42 to 100 ton hauling capacity. The Company produces its copper by placing run of mine ore on a lined leach pad where copper is released from its host rock into solution. The copper in solution is then recovered through a solvent extraction/ electrowinning process which creates sheets of 99.999% pure copper cathode. Lisbon Valley Mining Company operates a closed loop recovery process and reuses or recycles all of the materials that its operations consume. The Company has infrastructure in place to support up to 50 million pounds of annual copper production. Lisbon Valley Mining Company's current project life is approximately 10+ years. Annual production is forecast to range between approximately 20 - 30 million pounds per year.
