Living Innovations is an agency heading into our twentieth year of operations. Having begun in a single, small office in New Hampshire we currently provide services throughout Maine and Rhode Island as well. Our mission is "To support people of all abilities to have a good life at home and in the community." Our management team has an extensive background in the support and delivery of quality health and human services. Our professional staff members are highly trained and exceptionally experienced. What makes Living Innovations special is the level of compassion and personal attention our staff members bring to every person and family. Each of us is driven by a common goal: to recognize and respond to the unique needs of each person. Who can participate in a SLA? The Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Health Care, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DD) makes a determination if a person is eligible for services. DD also makes the determination if a person has a "Critical Need" for a residential service. Any person requiring 24 hour a day residential supports can be considered for a SLA.
