Generolo Jono

It is a non-political and non-profit public organization that unites servicemen, sergeants and non-commissioned officers of the Academy. The club cherishes military culture and national traditions. The club aims to rally servicemen, sergeants and non-commissioned officers of the Academy by following military and national traditions, allowing the servicemen' families to spend time meaningfully, fulfilling cultural needs, enhancing sergeants and warrant officers' prestige in the society and among Lithuanian and foreign servicemen, promoting and representing the Academy to other units of the Lithuanian Armed Forces and civil organizations. The goals of the club are as follows: to strengthen the links between the military and the society; to cherish and preserve military traditions and rituals; to create and maintain the traditions of the club; to strengthen the links between the officers and non-commissioned officers of the Academy; to encourage creative initiative and communication among the members of the club and sergeants and warrant officers of other units; to address problems occurring among non-commissioned officers; to satisfy spiritual, cultural and social needs of non-commissioned officers; to organize sports activities; to pay homage to discharged servicemen; to arrange meetings with other clubs and units of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The club actively cooperates with the Order of Malta Relief Organization in Lithuania by giving support to the socially vulnerable people. More
