Linden-Kildare CISD

Linden-Kildare C.I.S.D. offers a free, appropriate, public education with a full continuum of services for children and young adults identified with disabilities from age 36 months through 21 years of age and from birth through 21 years of age for children and young adults with hearing or vision impairments. Children from birth to age 3 with other disabilities will be referred to appropriate agencies for services or parents may contact Opportunities, Inc., 6101 N. State Line, Texarkana, TX 75503, or call 903.791.2288. Evaluations in the schools are provided for suspected disabilities including learning disabilities, speech and language development, physical impairments, vision or hearing impairments, intellectual disabilities, emotional disturbance, autism, health impairments, or traumatic brain injuries. Services are determined based on each child's individual needs. Once a referral is made the campus will follow its Student Support Team (SST) process. The Student Support Team may refer the student on for a special education evaluation if needed. A Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE) is conducted to determine the child's disability and an educational need for services. Referrals are confidential and services provided at no cost.
