Logic Technologies develops, manufactures and markets small and medium sized LCD TFTs for industrial applications, medical applications, commercial appliance and broadcast industry TFT displays worldwide. The company has a solid track record as a stable supplier of STN (passive) and TFT (active) LCDs, with strong capabilities in accommodating specific customer requirements, even in low-volume orders. Low NREs for custom TFT as well as innovative products such as projected capacitive touch sensors, touch panels, with and without optically bonded TFT glass and touch panel glass assemblies. Logic Technologies will expand its diverse TFT LCD line with products of even higher added value to meet a wider range of customer needs, and increase its market share. Our recent investment in new production equipment to allow us to design and produce Projected capacitive touch panels, OCA or Optically Clear Adhesive bonding, both liquid and film type, with up to 5.6mm glass thickness will provide new opportunities for customer to improve their own products. Our TFT range consists of TFTs from 1.8" to 3.5", 4.3" 5.0", 5.7", 6.2", and an focus on various 7" TFT resolutions from 800x600, 1024x700, 1024x768 as standard. High reliability backlights, long life backlights and transflective 7" TFTs, also available are 7" sunlight readable TFTs. Further investment in TFT integration technologies provides opportunities for customers to customize their TFT design in low volume for sizes of LCD TFTs in 8", 9.7", 10.1", 12.1" and 15" sizes. High brightness, sunlight readable 8", 9.7", 10.1", 12.1" and 15" TFTs are used in various outdoor applications for marine / boating display products, ticketing machines, kiosks, portable ruggedized tablets and other applications requiring sunlight readable LCD TFT displays. The company has recently invested in capacitive touch production technology with a new OCA or Optical Bonding Adhesive production line capable of providing World Class optically clear TFT displays with high reliability projected capacitive touch panels up to 5.6mm thickness. With the addition of employing the Atmel mXT224 capacitive touch controller these capabilities have been enhanced to suit applications such as industrial ovens, vending machines for UL751 certification as well as industrial strength capacitive touch panel suitability. Basically any application requiring high reliability and long life TFT displays from 7", 8", 9.7", 10.1", 10.4", 12.1" and 15" industrial grade TFTs. Strong growth in demand for more cost-competitive, larger, higher resolution industrial-use TFT LCDs is expected to continue. The TFT LCD business is intended to strengthen Logic Technologies ability to respond to this growth. Another key point is the partnership with such suppliers as Nichia for high brightness, long life LEDs, and 3M and DuPont for special films such as Anti-reflective, anti-glare, TMR (transmissive micro-reflective), UV rated and high sunlight reflectance. The ability of such partners to customize to our requirements provides us with an excellent portfolio of products, as well as being able to offer customised solutions for our customers.
