Lotusland

Lotusland has been awarded the Santa Barbara Beautiful 2006 President's Award. Santa Barbara Beautiful is an organization that gives recognition for private and public projects that enhance the community. Lotusland on Television: The gardens were filmed for the KCAL9 program "In the Garden". You can watch the Lotusland segment on the KCAL website. Lotusland in Print: The gardens have recently been featured in Garden Design, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Sunset Magazine, Tinta Latina, Cowboys and Indians, and Opera News. A New Plant Namesake: Bidens 'Madame Ganna Walska' was rediscovered in the Butterfly Garden and named in honor of Lotusland's founder. Lotusland was awarded the 2003 Horticulture Magazine Award for Garden Excellence.
