Established in 1989, Lutine was created to act as a marketing, administration and service company for a consortium of Life syndicates at Lloyd's of London. A founder member of the Managing General Agents Association (MGAA) Lutine remains committed to best practice and professionalism in sector in which coverholders manage some £5bn of premium. As a business we provide a wide range of individual and business protection based products to some of the largest insurance businesses in the United Kingdom helping to look after the interests of over 30,000 individuals. Our business protection products are targeted at small and medium enterprises. Having a long established reputation in the Group Life market, we are committed to our position as the home for SME business, specialising in under 100 lives. We are also an established provider of niche personal protection solutions to the IFA, wealth management, expatriate and affinity markets. Lutine Assurance Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ryan Specialty Group LLC and a fellow Group Company of Ryan Direct Group, who place risk with Lloyd's. Both Lutine Assurance and Ryan Direct Group form part of Ryan Specialty Group, a global insurance organisation headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. We feel it is important to highlight the financial strength of Lloyds of London which sits behind all of our short term Life business (10 years and below). Currently Lloyd's enjoys an A rating from A.M Best and A+ ratings from Fitch and Standard & Poor's.
