Lynx FC

Lynx were established as a casual team in 2007 playing their trade in the 2nd Division of Gibraltar Football. They won promotion in the 2009-10 season but were relegated the following season. They bounced back again and were again promoted in the 2011-12 season. Their 2nd season back in the big time saw them finish a respectable 4th position in the Premier Division finishing above Lions Gibraltar and Glacis United. For the 2013-14 season a lot of investment has been pumped into the side and exciting foreign players have joined the club. Spanish Striker Sergio Gines 'El Lata' has been a revelation up front alongside fellow Spaniard Gonzalez and Italian Sasha Funes have ignited some real firepower up front. They have also reinforced by signing quality local players such as Keeper Jamie Robba, Tyson Ruiz and Kailan Perez from St Joseph's. After the heavy investment, they will be aiming for one of the 2 European spots at stake.
