Macson Mesh Industries (Pvt) Ltd is the pioneer manufacturers of wire-based products in Sri Lanka. The company established by the partners of M/s Abdul Jabbar & Sons, a reputed and well-established hardware company over 100 years experience in the trade. Macson Mesh was founded during the era of import substitution, in the 1960's as Macson Industries, to produce wire products, which were then imported from Europe, China and India etc. the formative years of the company were spent in warding off the intense competition from the imported products and developing the product quality to meet international standards. Today, our product line represents 40 years of continuous product development and expertise. The company in 1988 converted it self into a limited liability company to further the vision of the organization to be the market leader of wire products. Our modern production facility at Piliyandala is now equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology and equipment from Europe. The reputation of Macson Mesh Industries (Pvt) Ltd., as a quality manufacturer is now becoming known overseas. The company has commenced exporting its products to Europe, South Africa, Madagascar, India and the Maldives and expects to increase its export market share in the future. All Macson products are manufactured to international quality standards and the company has the capabilities of producing its products to most international and local specifications, such as BS, ASTM, DIN, SLS 1148, etc. With this introduction, the Company succeeded in achieving the desired levels of quality.
