We live in the main house at Thieves Garden and let out the self-contained annex. After a little research, it became obvious that there was very little property available for short term lets in the Maidenhead area. We therefore decided to tackle that part of the market - people who don't want to stay in a hotel or a bed & breakfast but for who signing a 6 month lease is not practical. We came across several people who had been looking for rooms to rent in Maidenhead who couln't find anything other than hotel rooms or bed & breakfasts. Even those would have been happy to rent a flat/apartment for the normal "short term let" of 6 months discover that it can take weeks to find a property and then longer still to wait for bank accounts to be set up and references persued - this is especially problematic for visitors from overseas. We also aim to offer all of the facilities needed to make your stay pleasurable while keeping things simple - everything is covered by one all-inclusive price (including cleaning/linen service, broadband internet, Sky satelite movie and sports channels and all utility bills).
