MakerSpace

MakerSpace is a publicly accessible high-tech workshop in Garching near Munich with 1500 sq. meters of space for members to use machines, tools and software as part of a creative community. With its extensive offering as part of UnternehmerTUM, which is the Center for Innovation and Business Creation at the Technical University of Munich, MakerSpace is aiming to support ambitious start-ups and creative, do-it-yoursiri appself individuals. The workshop plays a large role in strengthening Munich as a high-tech center and broadens the ties between local universities, start-ups, industry and the city's creative scene.
