Manhattan Christian School
Discovering MCA gives the New York metropolitan community and beyond an opportunity to serve a most challenged area of New York City through prayer, financial support, and the cultivation of relationships. Many have experienced a dual blessing, one for helping advance God's mission to the underserved, and the second an internal blessing. Please remember that 40% of our children are from poverty income level homes, and the majority of the remaining families have low incomes. MCA has learned that families here cannot afford funding the school with tuitions. The average gap per child is $2,800. We have been developing funding for the school since the late 1980's. During the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, MCA raised $809,000. The funding covered MCA's operating deficit and it includes a $150,000 grant to assist funding faculty salaries during the 2016-17 school year. Below is a graph of MCA's funding history. MCA has regularly a scheduled program, An 'Hour@ MCA' for visitors. It is an opportunity for you to experience our community and learn about it from children, parents, faculty and staff. Please call or email Paul Gojkovich at 203-912-7564 (cell) to schedule attending or to discuss our mission.
