Marist is located within Bayonne, New Jersey and is situated among the 11 municipalities which comprise Hudson County, a county with an approximate population of 634,000. This urban community is direc...tly west of New York City and reflects broad ethnic and economic diversity. The school draws a considerable number of students from Hudson, Essex, and Union Counties. Marist High School offers three academic tracks: Advanced Placement, Honors and College Preparatory along. In addition to the three tracks, students at Marist are supplied with a Study Skills Program that is integrated into the Freshman year curriculum and a Writing Program that is integrated into the Sophomore year curriculum.
