Matexi Group
Under the motto "Welcome to the neighbourhood", Matexi wants to contribute with each project to neighbourhoods that inspire to make more of life together. Matexi has offices in every Belgian province, in the Brussels-Capital Region, in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and in Warsaw (Poland). With over 300 employees, Matexi is currently developing 429 neighbourhoods in 290 cities and municipalities. In 2020 Matexi realised a total turnover of nearly EUR 400 million. Last year, the neighbourhood developer sold 1,605 residential units, including 487 houses, 868 apartments and 250 plots of building land. Since its foundation, Matexi has sold more than 42,500 homes, or roughly the number of homes in cities such as Kortrijk or Mechelen. As market leader, Matexi wants to provide adequate answers to evolutions and challenges in the housing market. With projects such as Antwerp Tower (reconversion of an iconic office building with 26 floors), Leopold Views (Evere, reconversion from an office tower to apartments), Leopoldkazerne (Ghent, reconversion of amilitary complex to an urban area), Betons Lemaire (Ottignies, reconversion of an industrial site), Quartier Bleu (Hasselt, construction of a new district near the water), I-Dyle (Genappe, first 'eco-quartier' in Wallonie) and Kolska od Nowa (Warsaw, development of an apartment complex), Matexi takes the lead with regard to major inner-city developments, reconversion, and sustainable building.
