MAT Express is a full service bi-regional transportation and logistics company serving the sister cities of San Diego-Tijuana and beyond. As an inbond customs carrier MAT plays a key role in supporting crossborder commerce with facilities in Los Angeles, San Diego and Imperial Valley. With Tijuana's stature as the sixth largest city in Mexico, we support businesses by transporting machinery, equipment, raw materials, components, supplies and finished goods. We provide LTL and full trailer loads into and out of Tijuana, Tecate, Mexicali and San Luis Mexico. Our transportation specialists handle shipments from point of origin to signed bill of lading. Our logisitics team provides both the temporary exportation (T.E.) documentation preparation, as well as coordinate the cross-border pedimneto services. Manufacturing is one of Tijuana's and the State of Baja's biggest industries, due to the growth of the Maquiladora industry and North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). With the reduction and/or elimination of tariffs and trade barriers, Mexico is now California's top export market.
