Metropolitan Communications Group, Inc was founded in 1996 by Carl Butler, who was already an established leader as a fiber optic splicing technician in the Mid-Atlantic region. Carl had originally started MCG as a fiber optic cable splicing company. Within four years, MCG grew in size, expanded its customer base and added construction and engineering services, offering turn-key OSP solutions. MCG provides its clients with a full range of services needed to successfully complete jobs of any size as well as turn-key fiber optic communication solutions. MCG implements various tools and techniques, such as surveying, route designing, permitting, construction and fiber optic splicing/testing. MCG has now actively been involved in all aspects of the telecom industry for over the last fourteen years. Our engineers and project managers have an average of ten years of experience each in engineering and project management. We have a vast number of full time employees who all contribute to providing our clients with first-class OSP and ISP fiber optic engineering, construction and splicing.
