Mckinstry Skip Hire

Title sponsor of the Ulster Grand Prix 2011, McKinstry Skip Hire, is one of the leading waste management organisations in Northern Ireland. The company was founded in 1970 by the late Mr. Albert (Tiny) McKinstry and is now managed by his sons Darren and Mark. Here, they take a moment to tell us how business is going and why they're delighted to lend their support to the Ulster Grand Prix for the second year running. Despite the global economic downturn, business at McKinstry Skip Hire has excelled over the last 12 months. The Company has experienced a steady period of expansion over the years allowing us to provide our clients with a full duty of care package from Skip Hire, Waste Management Solutions, On Site Waste Audits to Monthly Recycled Reports In short McKinstry Skip Hire has become a one stop shop Waste Management Solutions Provider. Along with our duty of care package we are able to offer our clients Waste Haulage, Recycling, Demolition and Quarrying The business now employs over 75 people across three sites in Northern Ireland. These include our head office at Nutt's Corner, Crumlin which incorporates a state of the art recycling facility opened in February 2008. A second transfer station is situated in Belfast and our quarry is situated just outside Lisburn where aggregate stone is currently exploited Although the skip hire operation remains the largest part of the business, we have seen a huge increase in activity at the recycling facility with over 90% of all material handled being recycled. We specialise in the recycling of dry materials such as cardboard, paper, scrap metal, plastic and wood. Additionally, our waste haulage enterprise now extends across the province, with wood in particular requiring transport as far south as Cork and onto the mainland in Scotland. Everyone at McKinstry Skip Hire is once again delighted to once again hold title sponsorship of the Ulster Grand Prix. As many of you will know, we are no strangers to the road racing fraternity so we are thoroughly looking forward to the racing this week. While we are hoping for some thrilling action to rival that of 2010, our wish first and foremost is for a safe Bike Week. There's nothing quite like the world's fastest road race and we are very proud to again be associated with the event this year.
