Multicultural Community Services

Multicultural Community Services offers the following: Adult Foster Care (AFC) - AFC provides a residentially based service in a safe, therapeutic home environment designed to promote self-enhancing routines and rhythms of a fulfilling life for each member through a multidisciplinary team approach. Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) - MCS has been serving the population with Acquired Brain Injury since 2012. Eligible individuals are now being served in the communities of Ludlow, Ware, Agawam, Chicopee, Springfield and Indian Orchard. Agency with Choice / Alternative Day Program - An MCS service that will allow you to choose or design your own supports within a fixed budget. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) - Provides skill building and guiding families to develop effective strategies in supporting their loved one with Autism. Bridging Care for Families (In-Home Nursing) - The goal of Bridging Care for Families is to uniquely support families who are striving to care for a child with significant medical needs. Family Support - In 1980 MCS began developing family supports to be responsive to all of the communities it served. As we grew we increased our ability to respond to the expanding range of needs of increasingly diverse families. Human Rights - Affirm, promote, and protect the human rights and civil rights of individuals served. Individual Supports - Programs for individuals with disabilities who live apart from their family. Individuals may live independently (alone or with a roommate) or may live with a family other than their own (Adult Foster Care of Shared Living) and require less than 15 hours per week of support. Residential - Our agency began by creating community-based homes for individuals with disabilities. We continue to develop home environments which reflect each person's preferences and need for supports. Each person receives warmth, sensitivity and respect from a dedicated team of staff members. Translation and Interpretation- MCS translation and interpretation services is committed to providing quality interpretation and translation services to people with intellectual disabilities and their families who are from a different ethnic and cultural background and whose primary language is other than English.
