MDI offers 100% recycling of all used filters with the use of our filter bins. This not only supports the reduction of used oil entering our landfills, but it also provides us the ability to dismantle and reuse/recycle all the components of the filters themselves. MDI is licensed and manifested as a Used Oil Collector. This gives MDI the ability to make use of the used oil collected. For example, MDI will take used oil collected and use it to run a Boiler System that heats the tanks in our outdoor lubricant tank farm. Thus, the used oil is a renewable source of energy for MDI.
