Memphis Bar Association

The Memphis Bar Association was established in 1874, four years before the founding of the American Bar Association. The MBA is a professional organization for attorneys in Memphis and the surrounding Midsouth area. We seek to provide a place for lawyers to grow, connect, and serve. We have networking and leadership opportunities for members and offer accredited online and in-person CLE events, for all lawyers. We also promote the values of the profession and work with local organizations and media. Each year we participate in pro bono activities like the Saturday Legal Clinic and offer special events throughout the year to celebrate the hard work and dedication of lawyers.
