What's more, Me.reka was born from the conviction that business can be done differently, better. The global sustainability agenda and mission of Me.reka are intertwined and inseparable. When the SDGs were announced, our sustainability team conducted an in-depth deconstruction of each relevant SDG, and then rebuilt it again to measure Me.reka's impact to the deepest level. Each year, we publish an extensive sustainability report based on this framework. You can find our reports here. This is an overview of how the SDGs translate to Me.reka's work in practice. We try to eliminate hazardous waste in our production processes. When it cannot be avoided, proper handling, use and waste management of hazardous chemicals is observed. We aim to make education accessible to everyone nationwide, using fun and easy-to understand pedagogical approaches, combining arts with sciences and ensuring life long learning. We aim to uphold gender equality commitments for both sexes at all times. We aim to ensure that Me.reka's direct and indirect supply chain is ethical. We aim to support and integrate SMEs and SEs into Me.reka's value chain and markets. We aim to eliminate discrimination in its all forms. We reduce, reuse and recycle materials used and waste generated in the design, prototyping, manufacturing, packaging, delivery and return of products developed.
