Metro Management Development, Inc. is a multi-faceted real estate firm that specializes in Property Management, Sales, and Development. Metro began operations in 1985, and has been headquartered in the Silvercup Studios Building in Long Island City since its inception. We currently manage over 20,000 apartments. David Baron, President, has over 20 years of successful Management experience in the field of residential housing. Metro's portfolio includes Conventional Cooperatives, Mitchell-Lama Cooperatives, Condominiums, Cond-ops and Residential rental. Additionally, we have a team solely dedicated to the Management of Section 8 Housing. Organizationally, Metro has a staff of over 75 persons, including Property Managers, management assistants, and field support personnel. There is a back-office staff of twenty, reporting to the Director of Finance, and an in-house computerized Property Management software system. Our professional approach, innovative systems, and procedures are geared toward developing long term and genuine relationships with our clients.
